School Site Council

California Education Code 64001(a) requires that districts receiving state, federal and other applicable funding through the Consolidated Application (ConApp) prepare a School Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA). And one of the primary functions of the SSC is to develop, adopt and revise the SPSA. The SSC is a decision-making council for all programs funded through the ConApp. The SSC ensures that a school meets all federal parental involvement mandates and develops the Integrated Safe School Plan.
